Technical Focus on the Wanjie Range of Semi-Rotary Offset Presses: WJPS & ADVANCED Models

Asian precision serving the European market

Founded in 1999 in northern China, Hebei Wanjie Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. is one of the pioneers and leaders in China specializing in the design and manufacturing of label printing presses.
Certified ISO 9001 and CE, Wanjie has become an international reference, combining mechanical robustness, printing precision, and long-term reliability.

Its semi-rotary direct-drive offset press now meets the highest global standards in terms of stability, productivity, and print quality.

WJPS Series – The « Shaftless » Semi-Rotary Standard

The WJPS 350D / 450D / 560D / 660D series embodies the very essence of « shaftless » semi-rotary offset technology.
Each printing unit is driven by an independent servo motor, ensuring:

  • High production speed
  • Extreme registration accuracy
  • Significant material waste reduction (20–30 m during setup)
  • Long-lasting mechanical reliability

The electronic control system integrates a highly responsive DOS processor for precise synchronization of the servo motors, while the SMC pneumatic clutch control optimizes engagement pressure and pre-inking. Independent print units and individual touchscreens on each station make local adjustments easier and speed up job changeovers.

Full plate change time: less than 6 minutes
Substrate thickness range: 0.05 to 0.55 mm

Movable ink tables, centralized lubrication, and automatic register control ensure excellent color stability and long-term consistency.
The press can be optionally equipped with flexo or screen printing modules, as well as flat or semi-rotary hot stamping, embossing, or die-cutting stations, making the WJPS a hybrid and highly versatile platform.

ADVANCED 350 Series – The New Premium Evolution of WJPS

Based on the proven architecture of the WJPS series, the new Wanjie Advanced 350 takes print quality and operator comfort even further.

Key enhancements include:

  • Larger inking rollers, offering higher inking capacity and faster response
  • Reinforced and more rigid frame, ensuring greater mechanical stability
  • Immersion-type dampening roller with light oscillation, helping to avoid ghosting effects
  • Silent drive system with rotary disc and multipoint greasing, simplifying maintenance
  • Plate and blanket cylinders supported by rings, delivering smoother and more precise rotation

The Advanced series retains the flexibility, reliability, and compatibility of the WJPS range.
Both product lines are jointly distributed by Wanjie Europe and MachGlobal.

Wanjie Europe – Chinese Technology, European Service

Founded in Madrid by the Impryma Group in partnership with Hebei Wanjie Machinery, Wanjie Europe represents the technological bridge between Asia and Europe.

Its missions include:

  • Providing sales and technical support for UV semi-rotary offset presses
  • Maintaining a full stock of spare parts and European after-sales service
  • Offering a permanent demonstration center in Madrid, equipped with a fully operational Advanced press

This showroom allows European printers, as well as MachGlobal’s existing and future customers, to:

  • Test their own substrates
  • Discover the print quality and stability of Wanjie presses
  • Engage directly with Wanjie Europe’s engineers and technicians

Wanjie Europe x MachGlobal – A Strategic Partnership

To date, more than 40 Wanjie presses have been installed, between others, in Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Germany, Denmark, Slovakia, Hungary or Croatia.
In partnership with MachGlobal, Wanjie Europe now supports French-speaking printers in their transition to high-end semi-rotary offset technology.

“Wanjie Europe and MachGlobal share the same values: technical rigor, commercial transparency, and respect for the customer.”
